With the adoption of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), it is required that all communications containing Protected Health Information (PHI) be secured. To help implement this important and practical security measure, the Guilford Center is using services provided by ZixCorp to protect our email communications, ensuring that all PHI remains confidential.
For all of our e-messaging partners, ZixCorp makes secured email communications easy. ZixCorp's services allow us to send encrypted email messages to anyone, whether they are ZixCorp customers or not.
Secure e-messaging is not just a government mandate, it's a practical way to do business.
