New Implementation Date Announced by the North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (NC Division of MH/DD/SAS) for Uniform Screening andRegistration of Consumers
On August 10, 2006, Mike Moseley, Director of the NC Division of MH/DD/SAS issued a memorandum to all Local Management Entities (LMEs)announcing the September 2006 implementation of uniform screening and registration of consumers entering into the treatment service by way of the LME's ACCESS unit or through direct contract with a service provider.
On August 18, 2006, the Division issued an update announcing that standardized screening and registration would be postponed until October 1, 2006. Below are links to these announcements and the new standardized inteview form:
